The artwork of this item has been printed following the traditional wax-resist Batiktechnique. The applied waxresists dyes during the natural indigo dye process. After dyeing, the garment is boiled in hot water to remove the wax. The printed artwork retainsits raw colour whilst the garment is dyed in dark blue colour. (text courtesy of Indigo People)
