Handwoven using a combination of fine silk and cotton yarn, this piece is a beautiful coming together of legacy and a modern design sensibility. This fabric, called the Maheshwari was developed by a charismatic queen from central India in the 18th century. What makes the fabric special is the fact that it is ideal for summers and winters.
